Distracted Driving 101 Class.......................................................$100 $20 (1 hour class)
Our DDA Instructor will challenge drivers of all ages, and provide an interactive opportunity for them to complete this one hour Distracted Driving Class. We know it is dangerous, but most of us do it anyway. Cell phones, radios, food, and friends are just a few reasons why we're paying less attention to the road, and need to focus more on driving responsibly. This class is designed to provide tips and techniques that will help drivers change their behavior and recommit to safely getting to their destination without giving in to distracted driving. Driving distracted has been proven to compromise the health and well being of drivers, passengers, pedestrians----all who travel our highways and byways and hope to return home to their loved ones safe and sound. DDA 30hr Classroom..................................$285 Free-$175 (total of 30 classroom hrs)
Is an actual classroom with teacher the best bet for your teen's learning style? Our talented Instructors challenge young drivers and provide an interactive opportunity for students (age 15 or older) to register and complete this 30 hour certificate program. With this certificate, you have finished the first of three PA State requirements that allow young drivers to earn their Senior license at age 17½ instead of 18, and you may even qualify for a teen auto discount. DDA 30hr Online Course ............................................$135 $99 (total of 30 on-line hrs)
Teens can enroll at age 15 and get an insurance discount every year until 22 or 23. DDA Online challenges teens and provides an opportunity for busy students and parents with hectic schedules to complete this certificate program at their convenience from home or wherever a computer is available with internet access. Register and finish before taking the PA knowledge test to increase your chance of getting that permit on your first attempt!

Are you already licensed but need a defensive driving certificate for an upcoming court date, speeding citation or point reduction? Perhaps you want to just learn new defensive driving techniques, need a refresher, or require certification for employment. This is a 5-hour instructional course at DDA's office in Newtown Square that focuses on "the chain of survival", adult, child, and infant CPR & AED use, immediate care for choking emergencies, heart attack, and lifesaving first aid. First Aid covers everything from controlling severe bleeding and treating for shock to care for burns, victims of seizure, stroke, severe allergic reactions, diabetic emergencies, bites & stings, and hot & cold emergencies. Both components are designed to provide rescuers with the skills that are necessary to deal with extreme emergencies and to have the ability to serve as an important link in the chain prior to EMS arriving. 2-year certification is achieved upon completion.
